Executive Team Bob Langevin    bob@avioninsurance.com Bob Langevin graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1965 majoring in Insurance and Risk Management. Shortly thereafter, Bob spent 4 years flying fixed-wing aircraft in the US Army serving in Vietnam as a Forward Air Controller during the War including the TET Offensive. While in Vietnam, Bob was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Bronze Star for heroism as well as 28 Air Medals each representing 50 hours of combat flying time. In 1970, he joined United Airlines where he was employed for 33+ years and has over 18,000 logged flying hours. Bob has type-ratings in the 737, 727, 757, 767, and the 747-400 on which he was Captain from 1999 until his recent retirement. Bob started AVION Insurance Agency while on furlough from UAL and has done nothing but fly airplanes and provide Aviation Insurance advice and service for the past 43 years of his life. Bob is happily married to Kimberly Langevin and he has 2 children, 1 stepdaughter and 4 grandchildren. Bob retired from United Airlines in 2003 and now has more time to devote to AVION, golfing, boating, his family, and following the Miami Dolphins. Scott Langevin    scott@avioninsurance.com Scott graduated from Florida State University in 1995 with a Bachelor's Degree from the College of Business in Risk Management & Insurance. Immediately following graduation Scott was licensed by the State of Florida as a Property & Casualty Insurance Agent and he has maintained his license by satisfying the Continuing Education requirements each year. Scott has been with AVION for over 10 years and is very proud that he has done nothing but Aviation Insurance for his entire professional career. Scott recently was awarded the prestigious Certified Aviation Insurance Professional (CAIP) designation at the Aviation Insurance Association's 2005 Annual Conference in New Orleans. Scott is now one of less than 100 people in the World to hold the CAIP designation reflecting his knowledge, experience and commitment to the Aviation Insurance industry. Scott is also AVION's representative in the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the Aviation Insurance Association (AIA) and the Florida Aviation Trades Association (FATA) attending the annual conferences of each association. Scott is happily married to his high school sweetheart and they have two beautiful young boys. Scott enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and passionately supporting his alma mater, FSU. Debbie Robertson    debbie@avioninsurance.com Debbie has been with AVION since 2003 as the Manager of our Pleasure & Business Department. Debbie is in charge of marketing & securing quotations, issuing Binders and Certificates as well as reviewing policies and endorsements. Debbie's previous experience as an Underwriter Assistant at United States Aircraft Insurance Group (USAIG) has been a tremendous benefit to Avion. Debbie is happily married and has a son in Middle School. Debbie spends most of her time at her son's baseball and football games and she is a dedicated Miami Dolphins fan. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
