Co-Brokering Avion Insurance Agency regularly Co-Brokers aviation insurance policies with other licensed insurance agents and brokers throughout the country. It is our goal to make our Co-Brokers look great to their insureds by providing a customized aviation policy at the lowest possible price. Avion's services will remain behind-the-scenes and Avion will never contact your insured directly! Avion will aid the Co-Broker, as necessary, in obtaining the pertinent aviation underwriting information including all relevant Underwriting Surveys, Checklists or Applications. Once the underwriting information has been compiled, Avion will prepare an Underwriter Quotation Request Submission and solicit all available aviation underwriters directly. A BOR/AOR letter might be required if our underwriters are already involved. Once all quotations have been secured, Avion will report back to the Co-Broker with the results of the marketing efforts. If an order is received, Avion will bind all coverages and release all necessary Binders, Certificates, Applications, TRIA disclosures, Invoices, etc. all while acting as a behind-the-scenes company. Avion will make the Co-Broker look GREAT and make your insured believe you are the aviation insurance specialist! Commissions split between the companies is usually equal. Our underwriters usually require full premium at policy inception and rarely offer Direct Billing or Premium Installment Programs. In addition, Avion can secure Premium Financing Agreements or the Co-Broker can secure the financing through their own office.
